The Maryland IMT supported the BWI Airport Operations and Fire Department for their 2022 EPLEX. The EPLEX is a functional exercise to test the Airport's response to an aircraft mishap causing multiple casualties. The exercise was planned by personnel from the Maryland Department of Emergency Management Preparedness Branch. MDIMT was offered the opportunity to provide Safety Officers, Staging Area Managers, and Stratus Check-In personnel.
