The MD-IMT held the National Fire Academy's O-305 Introduction to All Hazards Incident Management Teams Course at the Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute located on the campus of the University of Maryland College Park. Maryland Incident Management Team assists with Line of Duty Death Services

At the request of the Baltimore City Fire Department the MD-IMT is assisting with planning funeral services for two Baltimore City Firefighters; Lt. Dillon J Rinaldo and EMT/Firefighter Rodney Pitts III both of which were injured/died fighting a fire on October 19, 2023.

2022 BWI EPLEX

The Maryland IMT supported the BWI Airport Operations and Fire Department for their 2022 EPLEX. The EPLEX is a functional exercise to test the Airport's response to an aircraft mishap causing multiple casualties.
